FRIEDRICH specialises in the development and manufacture of insulated 1000 V safety tools for live working. We can look back on a long company history, which began back in 1896 with the founding of our former sister company Putsch-Fröhling with the manufacture of high-quality tools.

For many decades, the Friedrich company has benefited from knowledge and expertise, which has grown steadily through the acquisition of several small companies. Even today, we are always looking to optimise our production processes and deliver the highest quality tools in accordance with the standard - because that is what Friedrich tools are known and respected for: Highest quality standards and precision.

Friedrich is a certified production facility and is regularly inspected by the VDE testing and certification institute.

We make sure that our tools allow you to work easily and with little fatigue, and that you can work efficiently without spending a lot of time. 

The company began as a pure trading company and started its own production of various pliers - especially assembly pliers - in 1970 and marketed them under the brand name Magier. Tweezers were also included in the sales range. In 1976, the company expanded by merging with the Putsch-Fröhling company and from then on traded under the Friedrich family name.

Starting with the manufacture and sale of pliers, the Friedrich range soon expanded to include: cutting tools, screwdrivers, screwdriving tools, industrial safety, hand tools, cases & assortments.

The main focus is still on pliers.

Our broad product range includes tools for applications and work up to 1000 volts and is also suitable for the special needs of electric and hybrid vehicles.

Thanks to international and future-orientated action and thinking, Friedrich has managed to survive on the global market for decades with a well-coordinated team and just one production site in Remscheid (Bergisch Born).
